BBS RSII's 18x8.5 fronts and 18x10 rears. Tires are Nankang NSII Ultrasports 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear. I did the centers of the rims in Graphite Metallic with polished lips. I need to get some coilovers on this thing as soon as I can swing the $$. I have 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers that will go on soon aswell. Better pictures will be coming tomorrow.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the wheels?
I had some for sale for quite some time, and I was pretty amazed that I only got $750 shipped for them.

Why did you choose undersized tires front and rear? To keep the stock rolling diameter you should have done 235/40/18 and 265/35/18.

Because I wanted to have a little stretch to my tires and not have the tires dominating the rims. This car is going to be lowered pretty low with 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers. The larger tires add more weight and sidewall that won't fit once I put spacers and lower it. I would have even gone down even more in sizes to get even more stretch.

I guess I'm a "drop first, wheels second" kinda guy so i assumed you were staying closer to stock. Looking forward to seeing completed pics of the stretch and poke.

I really should have, but I had the rims before I got the car. It was too tempting to throw the rims on before I got the suspension taken care of.

Its been pouring rain all day today so pics will wait until tomorrow. The exhaust is a Magnaflow 14816. I Y-piped it after the cats to one larger diameter pipe to the muffler. So I only have cats and the muffler.

I am not sure if I am going to tint it or not, but NEX coilovers are going to be going on it very soon.

Nice wheels!
What offset are they?

You may have some trouble using the spacers with a drop.

-6 for any stretched tires.

The rims are ET22 front and ET25 rear. I am going to be running 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers with rolled rears. So final offsets will be ET7 and ET5. My tires have a nice stretch on them so I should be fine with the coilovers. I wanted to get smoked tails originally but ended up going smoked corners instead. Maybe some time down the road I will switch, but they look good on the car. I still have a ACS bumper and side skirts that I am going to put on, but I want to have a good body guy mess with it to get everything straight and repainted.

nice wheels but the stretch kills it for me

I have to run stretch tires so that they will clear the upper part of the suspension components with the NEX coilovers. I love the look of wide tires, but they don't work well when you want to go low. Yes that is a Trailblazer SS in the garage. I have a few bolt-ons done to it and it runs pretty hard. Is a high 12 second truck with room for 5 and AWD.

Yah I run 225x40x18s on my 8.5 front an. 9.5 rears. Any thicker tire and I'd have to remove spacers or raise coils.

googone20

^^Thats the exact combo I have in the front. 225/40/18 with 8.5 rims.^^

Very nice wheels... no offense but it really doesn't look right at the current ride height! I would rather run stock wheels until I got the suspension dialed in.

Nicw Wheels!
What exhaust do u have on dat baby?

googone20
11-04-2009, 10:10 PM
On offense taken. The car looks a lot higher in pictures than it does in person. I am seriously putting coilovers on in the couple of weeks, so the suspension situation will be completely addressed. I already have the spacers and everything to make the stance look really good. The exhaust is a Magnaflow 14816 muffler. I Y'ed it after the cats into a single pipe and ran it back to the Magnaflow with no resonator.
