I think every customer that posted pics, is now on our facebook page (you don't have to be signed up to view the page http://www.facebook.com/ApexRaceParts
The 18" samples of the wheel are trickling in this week, so I should have tons of photos of these wheels mounted onto test cars by the end of the week. Nobody has any 18's yet as they are still in production. So there will be lots of interesting new stuff.
For those not in the know. The 17" sizes are:
17x8" et20 (e30 m3)
17x8" et25 (4 lug e30)
17x9" et42 (e36, e36, e92..)
The 18's coming out soon are:
18x8.5" et38
18x9" et42
18x9.5" et35
18x9.5" et62
18x10" et25
Here's a samples of what the 18's look like

Samples should be arriving tomorrow for the concave sizes.
Here's a sneak peak of the 18x10" et25 track wheel.
This angle doesn't really show how deep the spokes go in.

I got a set of these from the original group buy and since then have put 8 track days on them and have had no issues with them. Also imo they are the best looking of all of the cheap lightweight track wheels (K1, MT1-R, LTW5)

Thanks, that's really good to know. I'm not gonna be tracking anytime soon but i still want a wheel that will actually upgrade my performance. And i agree they do look the best :)
Can't wait to save up the money to buy!

Are the concave wheels going to be available in 4 lug fitaments and in the same colors offered to others.... Is there a time attack version in the works?

The concave wheels will not be available in a 4 lug fitment. These are track oriented wheels, and a concave wheel on the e30 would prevent the fitment of an aftermarket BBK. wheel vinyl can be purchased and applied to our black wheels to create a time attack look. I know of one customer who did this with the matte black wheels. We don't carry the wheel vinyl though.

18's on a 1 series (1 series can't fit concave wheels, it has the highest offset of all the fitments)

Just a quick question... would these wheels fit an e34? Do the e30 m3s have the same boltpattern as e34s? the offset is right at 20... Just wondering, these seem like a nice option considering weight and all...

They do fit the E34. But they are a track oriented wheel designed for the lighter weight 3 series. The heavier body, and possibility for high passenger/luggage weight would make me not recommend the 17" e30 m3 fitment for the e34. It's not the it couldn't handle regular use. It's that when you hit a pothole at 90mph with a car full of people, it's hard to predict what types of load that would be putting on wheel.
Our 18" wheels (which includes an 18x10" et25) can easily handle e34/e39 load ratings.

Major GroupBuy Update!!!!
All GroupBuy Members will receive up to an ADDITIONAL $100 OFF the set if the minimum number of buyers is met! This is retroactive for all members already signed up. The GroupBuy close date is October 31st. The minimum is 10 sets (40 wheels) for each wheel fitment by the closing date to receive this discount.
Staggered sets count as two wheels towards each fitment. Example 18x8.5F/18x9.5R counts as two wheels towards the total of the 40 needed for the 8.5" wheels and two wheels towards the total of the 9.5" wheels. If only one of the fitments reaches the minimum, then members signed up for that wheel size will still receive a $50 credit.
This is a one time only, pre-production offer. It will not be offered in the future! Now is the time to sign up. These wheels fit multiple applications, so tell your friends and save. Everybody wins!
Thats like paying $264 for the 8.5" wheels and $289 for the 9.5" wheels. PLUS FREE SHIPPING!
Go to our Site's GroupBuy (http://www.groupbuyparts.com) section for more information!
