hood ideas

so i need to repaint my hood, most likely going the stock color but im curious as to what people have gotten creative with. im liking the german stripes in some places but not sure yet, just post up some pictures of the array of possibilities with hoods, thanks in advance.

stock is always the safest option, cant say i've seen anything that stands out

Depends. Are you keeping this car forever or will you sell it some day? Keeping it stock will help retain the resale value.

yea me too haha, some of the car definitely has weathered differently than others, makes me question the PO's habits but whatever, and ill prolly go stock but but not really bound by resale value, im not talking doing a self portrait in the middle of the hood with pastels but like just little stuff. theres gotta be some out there

I always thought that a checkered fade across the whole nose would look sweet. i think there was a paint job like that in Grand tourismo 3 on the bmw race car. It is hard to do anything to these cars and remain taste full. I like the german flag idea. I have seen that on some posts in the past. I think that looks cleverly understated.
