Im just "pondering"
How do you think an automatic cooper s would do pulling a 4x6 enclosed trailer?? Mainly just down the highway to help me move.
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks

Depends on the hitch used, tongue weight, and load.
Most of the hitches sold are either 100 or 200 max load on tongue and up to 2000 towing.
I don't know if the Cooper S tranny can take it as it is not a very heavy duty unit.

keep an eye on trans temperatures if possible, that is the major issue with any tow vehicle.
as for the weight, don't forget to include the weight of the trailer for your true gross weight.

thanks...
IT would be like a honda CRF50 (pitbike) and then just the normal, clothes, maybe a television... not a TON of stuff really.

Shouldn't be a problem then. Lots of guys run the small 4x8 trailer from Harbor freight as a track trailer carrying the tires, tool box, and such.
A couple of options for hitches are from minidomore.com and minifini.com. I like the minifini one cause it doesn't mess up the rear backup/fog light and there are lots of options for it.

with the wheelbase of our cars and that size trailer i would keep the speed as low as safely possible to avoid swaying. I had a friend with a crx that pulled a trailer of similar size... the front end beame the back end at 70 mph.
