I just picked up a nice set of vintage 3pc rims for my e28. Problem is they're 16's and I need 17's to clear my brakes. Does anyone make lips and barrels to upsize the rim to a 17?

What kind of wheel, but the center section of the wheel will still be the same diameter, but maybe you can get lucky

I am aware of the centre section being of the same size. They're a set of Hardy And Becks. I know I've seen this done to BBS wheels before. maybee I'll head over to the vw vortex. seems they like to build rims alot more than bmw owners

How many bolt holes do H&B's have?

the rims use bbs lips and barrels. 20 hole. I have a BBS sticker on the barrel that reads:
part # 01.44.056 0696
size R-TI50 5 1/2 x 16H
I think lips and barrels from a bbs e26 or e50 wheel will work, now just need to find a source
