Well first of all, today my beautiful Avus/Black 95 got a clay bar and Zaino job to erase 10 years of wear and dirt. The car was very well kept to begin with, and hardly ever driven in the rain from what you can tell. Here are some pictures taken after the clay and 3-4 coats of Zaino (click for bigger pics):

Secondly, and most important <ahem> I just ordered the full "300HP" kit from http://www.eurosporthighperformance.com (special thanks to Jim Conforti who I sort of know personally for his help on the ins and outs of this kit). I need to go in the engine and replace the weak valve retainers anyway, so while I'm there, I figured I'd throw some cams in. Give me a few weeks and I will have before and after dyno runs to see how she runs. The car right now has 84,000 miles on it and is bone stock.

Boy am I excited :boink

VERY Clean! Good job taking care of the car! Love the Avus Blue color.

Keep us posted on your new upcoming mods and how much of a difference it makes. I want to get a cam kit for my ODBII also :)

I have to give the previous owner all the credit. She took VERY good care of the car. All I did was give it what it was asking for - clay bar and Zaino :) I did give the interior a good scrub down also. Looks factory fresh!

I used Zaino products (http://www.zainobros.com) which is by far the best possible car protection product on the market. I have been using it since 1997 and it has just gotten better and easier to apply since then. Spend one morning or afternoon doing this and the shine and water beading will last 6-9 months. Anyone who has used it will agree.

The inside I just cleaned up the leather with greased lightning follwed by Zaino leather cleaner and then Lexol leather conditioner. Had to scrub and scrub the wheel, knob, and parking brake handle but they look like new.

Cleaned the dash with leather cleaner also. Did not put any dressing on it.

What did you use on the steering wheel. The stitching, in particular, looks brand new!

Like I said, just greased lightning, a lot of hard work, then leather cleaner and finally leather conditioner. I was surprised also!

What do you mean you scrubbed the interior? What did you use to scrub it? If my interior is dirty, do i first scrub it down and then add the leather cleaner/protectant stuff? BTW the car looks great! I wish i had AVUS blue instead of my Daytona.

Daytona is a beautiful color, don't say that!

I used the greased lightning to scrub the wheel, knob, and brake handle with a towel. I sprayed a generous helping of leather cleaner all over the seats and then used clean cloths to clean it off. Let dry, then apply conditioner. Repeat conditioner as many times as it takes until it soaks in all the way.

Thinking about it. Fronts and rears - but does anyone make SMOKED clears? That'd be better IMO. I'd also like to go with Euro headlights and new foglights both protected with Stongard of course.

Man, thats the cleanest 95 I've seen in a long time. Props.

I agree with the smoke corners, I think they match the headlights much better. Clears look too white to me. I bought my smokes from <a href=http://www.fknorthamerica.com>FK North America</a>. They are made by Depo, and with the exception of a slight gap between the light and fender (not noticable until you get up real close) the quality is very good. No clip problems or anything.

Clay bar: http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=Z-18&Category_Code=Zaino

also made by other companies that you can buy at the auto parts store, I just happen to be a die hard Zaino fan and long time customer.

95s are the sh*t! :D

Beautiful car man, and about the 300HP kit, it will transform your car completely to a new bad beast! You can see my dyno in my sig with the kit, I couldn't have been happier.

A word of advice, don't get track pipes or headers once you have this kit. You'll only be wasting your money. You can findout more if you do a search by my name.

good luck
