I used the search function, but I did not receive any results.
Can someone please tell me where the battery is located?
Thank you very much.

More than likely it's somewhere in the trunk like most BMWs have been since the 80s. If you have an owners manual...I'm pretty sure it will reveal it's exact location.
And you're likely to get a quicker response if you pose this question on the e65/e66 forum since it is specific to your car's issues. :)
Good luck.
EDIT: here ya go...I went to the e65/e66 forum and clicked the "search this forum" tab and typed "replace battery" as my search word and found this old post: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showpost.php?p=17158267&postcount=6

Thank you. Although this is my fourth BMW, I'm not much of an expert. I really do appreciate the help.

Ok, just cause I have to ask....
Why do we need to know where the battery is on a brand new car? Future reference? Hopefully not something wrong electrically already...

Subs and amp. I'm a 47-year old teenager . . . arrested development.
My wife never knows if it's my son or I bumping up to the house.
Sad. I know.
Oh, yeah. I didn't want the guys at the install shop to be forced to guess where the battery was located.

Thanks for the correction...I thought the 2010 model was the new 7 series generation. :dunno:
They're both so disappointing (visually) in my opinion...I really don't follow them that closely. Although the latest generation looks okay from the side and front...I totally HATE the big watermelon sized mamma jammma front kidney grills that it makes it difficult for me to look at them for any length of time. :az
