Seat question

The previous owner installed an interior (seats and door panels) from a 99 328i in my 93 325iS and it looks very nice. The question I have is that as I was looking under my seats I notice that each seat has a plug under them with a four prong connector. The seats are manual adjusting seats so obviously this isn't for a power seat conenction so could it be seat heaters? If so, how hard would it be to conenct them up so they work (woudl love heated seats this winter) and if not, what would these be for?

Simple, the car had electric seats before. Maybe with heat, maybe not.

Your manual seats won't or shouldn't have any heat.

Electric seats with all the usual manual adjustments as well? It has the manual adjustments for recline, height and foward/backward adjustments.
