I'd say it's definitely worth fixing. It's not too bad of damage, and the interior looks really good (other than the peeling door cards)

First you check the body under and over.. look for any buckling in the frame as well as unseen damage...Second get a good estimate... probably 3 of them so you'll know what to spend... good luck.. keep it and bring it back to life.. btw what did u hit?

Thanks man. Im ready to get a house bought and and get another car on the road I can stand to DD and then I'll make it really sweet.

It needs a Hood, Fender, lights, and the grill. The inner body panel will need a little love, but won't need to be replaced. This is almost exactly the same hit my car had on it. Find the parts and in about 4 hours it could be back together and on the road minus paint.

What he said....

Same damage as my car. Bought a whole front clip: hood, fenders, bumper, grill, headlights, foglights for $400 from a junk yard. Used a 2x4 to bend the inner a bit and slapped it back together. The hood gap isn't perfect, but good enough for me.

That's not a terribly hard fix. Mine was hit the same area but not as hard (picked it up on copart). I didn't need a hood, just a fender, corner light and right grill. And both pieces that hold that corner of the bumper in position. The rest was all straigtening.

And some time on a frame machine to fix unrepaired damage to the shock tower from an accident previous to the one that put the car in copart :shifty

i think im gonna revive it, i don see any frame damage, i just need to find the parts, if u could message me garethashenden (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/member.php?u=201350) i'd like to talk about those parts u have. The whole thing happened because i got distracted and a van cut me off, slamed into the back corner of it... i love this car, i really don want to give it up

the front bumper looks to be reusable, so just a guard, bonnet, headlight surround and assembly, set of euro front bumper impact pieces and a set of clear indicators, and you're set (last two as an upgrade)

take a photo of the inside of the engine bay around the hit area, so we can see how badly it is bent

best of luck with the repairs

I actually saw them for the first time in five lug in Durango, CO while on a road trip (they were on an E36 saloon). They're pretty cool rims.

Fix it. Too bad your on the otherside of the country. I have a 93 Hellrot parts car with decent fenders and hood. I'd sell it very cheap, but the shipping will kill you.
