Hello,
We have a 2006 325i and it has normal reflector type headlamps, with halogen bulbs. I have seen other 2006 3 series and they had projectors/halos/HIDs. Was that only an option in 2006? Also, is there a good plug/play conversion kit? Not too concerned about the halos, but I would like HIDs. New to BMWs so I figured it would be a good idea to ask. Sorry if this has been covered before.
Thanks,
Sean

I do not see them listed, can you post a link to them?

The Projector xenons were an option for the 06-08 sedans. We do not sell projector headlights for these cars as your best bet is an OEM xenon set. Check out E90Post and PM a member, E90 Andy. He can sell you OEM projectors.

Thanks for the heads up. Looked into it and from what I see it is about $1000 to do it. Not worth it!

Would these be suitable for a conversion? I like the clear corners. I've heard of positive and negative experiences with eBay headlamps on another car community I am a part of, so I figured I'd ask you guys first. If these could be used with a ballast conversion, I'd think it would come out cheaper. -shrug-

We are testing very similar projectors right now for the E90. The quality seems to be very good and they have built in CCFL and HIDs. All of the wiring and HID systems are built in so it's a real clean install. We are working through making sure there are no error codes and install is seamless.

Forgot to ask this in my previous post. So the HIDs are built into the headlight assembly, ballast and all? Thats really cool. I'm guessing the price would be a bit more than the ebay ones, but less than the OEM ones? Very curious and anxious to see how these turn out. Getting really tired of seeing all the other 3 series around here with projectors, even the older ones! :stickoutt
