The drain is probably on the bottom of your oil pan. If real oem isn't showing it you could always look at a sink for reference.

#5 and always replace the crush washer too. It's job is not only to seal the plug but to save the threads on the pan. If you re-use the gasket over and over you systematically pull the threads on the pan out by tightening the plug just a little more to get it to seal after every oil change.
I swapped my oe plug out for one with a magnetic tip and it does catch tiny particles.

Nope, that isn't it. Get under the car and you will see the oil pan sticking down partially surrounded by your black plastic splashguard.

This is a view from DIRECTLY under the car, with the front of the car being towards the left. Hope this helps

Look at your car from the nose. Get the front up either with stands or a jack and jackstands. You will see a bulge coming down from under the engine block, with the cross-member (more accurate name = ?) behind it (behind as in on the same plane, but towards the rear wheels.) Get under the bulge and you will see the oil drain plug facing the passenger wheel. It is 17 mm I believe? There are a few other bolts down there, but they are in a group of two or three, so you can deduce that they are not for draining the oil.

I will just get some pics of it tomorrow when I am under my car, that realoem diagram is bad for seeing the drain plug.

And please don't be offended about my overly simple directions, but I make no assumptions because I am always upset when people assume I know more than I do. =p

This is actually the timing chain tensioner cap bolt. You undo this one when you replace your timing chain tensioner.

There we go, realoem doesnt show the right angle to show the drain plug. Good luck.

Red arrow shows where to drain oil and the green arrow shows where to drain coolant.

excuse me Mr TGreene, you have an oil leak

I'm quite impressed at the amount of help that was offered, normally on other forums if someone asked such a simple question, a lot of people would be quick to jump on him and point out how inferior he/she is to themselves for not knowing something they do

Now the question i ask the original poster is.... are you planning on doing an oil change now?

excuse me Mr TGreene, you have an oil leak

You talking about stuff on the ground or all that gunk up underneath the car?

If you are talking about stuff underneath the car, it is because I have spilled a bunch of oil, break fluid and ATF in the past week or so taking stuff apart/bleeding stuff/etc.

If it is not all that stuff on the ground, then please be more specific/PM me, because as of now I don't think I have an oil leak, but then again I don't reallly know what to look for besides stuff leaking onto the ground.

Thanks/sorry for threadjack
