hey guys
how much do you think it would be to paint an e36 m3 front bumper and possibly the nose panel if all the prep work is done

how much at maacco or in general?

Hey there, I got a quote from maaco to do my whole car using their best paint process. And the price was under $2000.00. That price included included fixing some dents, etc. But I can't remember about how well they do prep work. I get the impression people don't usually go there when they want great prep work done.

I haven't got my car painted yet. Working the interior and mechanicals first.
I don't know if I will goto them.

On the flip side, small indy shops have quoted between $4500.00 & $5500.00 for painting the whole car.

Hope that helps...

Maaco has been running a tv ad charging $100 to paint a bumper.

MAACO will do the $100 respray on the bumper but, quite frankly, I have yet to see a MAACO paint job (regardless of who did the prep) that doesn't look worse than before the respray in a few months.

Figure $500 to have it done properly...

its the pre primed m3 bumper so it doesnt need any prep work, just a spray & its detached from the vehicle
