So now that the acquisition of GlossHaus is pretty much complete, I've started to experiment with products to expand the product line. It seems pretty natural for other paint care/maintenance products like car wash (there will actually be two), quick detailer, clay lube and wheel cleaner to come into the product line, and I've pretty much settled on those. I'm also going to have an interior cleaner, a tire shine and a complete range of microfiber products.
The other things I have access to are leather cleaners/conditioners, but I'm on the fence here. I know paint and detailing well, but I don't know a lot about leather. I've got access to leather car products, but can't really "tune" them since I don't know enough about leather and leather care to add any value. So I could relabel an off-the-shelf equivalent or just resell Zymol/Leatherique/P21s, etc.. I'd probably make a little more money on the relabel, and the quality appears to be good, but I can't really give the advice and counsel that I can on my core products (existing and new).
Thoughts and opinions are welcome.

Zymol and Leatherique are both awesome in my eyes. I'd think about just distributing those products as they are. That way customers can follow their recommendations and you aren't liable for any advice that you give out on something you aren't as intimately familar with.

I see great reviews on Zymol for maintenance, but the Leatherique seems to be the best at rejuvenation. So if I had to pick one product to rely on, I say to resell Leatherique. Then I might talk to someone about a custom formulation based on derivated animal proteins and oils. Natural fibers respond to natural compounds. Use petroleum based products on natural fibers and the always break down with any lapse in use. I don't know if leatherique would have that same effect, but you could do some testing and see what you come up with. You can leverage your consumer base as your beta testers, but they have to trust you first. I think it best to recommend a good product at lesser profit, to build that trusting client base. Then you can see about having some of them field test a new product for you.

Stick to your guns man.
When I am shopping I want the personal experience and expertise to be explained and shown to me.
I feel like if I am going to trust my investment to a product then it should be well documented, yeah those other two products you mentioned are very well informed across their web-pages, why would I buy a re-labeled product unless it is cheaper? And then it get's into what are they cutting it with?
If I had a single stage paint, and I might sometime soon, I would buy the glosshaus kit, and when I get the paint, I will.
The other stuff sounds great, kinda like a one stop shop. Especially when all of the stuff used in combination actually works like it should and could be included in a kit.

For maintenance products Lexol has the most experience in the industry, and I'll never buy anything else. Everyone thinks they can just whip up something and sell it, but it's not that simple in the case of leather. Most products on the market are petroleum based and will ruin your leather. I might beta test something on a leather jacket, but no way an untested product is touching my seats.

Thanks folks - I'm going to stick with products I should be offering vs. products I could offer. These wouldn't have been new, untested products, but since it is an area I don't have much in the way of expertise (yet), I'm going to focus on the core and go from there. I'm really pleased with the new products - I'm planning to "re-launch" GlossHaus in October, and they'll be part of it.

Have you ever tried using Connolly leather products? For leather, it is my favorite maintenance program for my leather. Great cleaner and conditioner. I get great results every time I use it. Brings out that new leather feel and look every time.
