when my fan broke i asked you guys for help and it helped alot i maneged to fix it though i didnt replace the radiator thinking it would be fine it did have damage about 30% of it but i thought it was only just the little things bent on the i raditor. so i fixed the fan and the raditor top hose fixed it ran it to test it, it ran perfect up till 5 min then my lights went off on the dash and then they came back up and it showed the little gear light on and it was still running fine so when i got back home i checked the raditor and it looked like it was leaking through the raditor,i checked every other hose and they all looked dry and perfect. does this mean its bust? and where could i get a good one to replace, performance or non,?:buttrock thnx guys

The light with the gear is your tranny warning light. Do you have an auto trans?

Is your cooling system bled properly?

If your fan hit the rad you have to replace your engine mounts. You should also change the tranny mounts at the same time and match them if you decide to beef up.
It can get tricky. Choose wisely.

because the fan shouldn't get near the radiator. If it hits the radiator then its a sign your engine mounts aren't supporting the engine correctly allowing it to move forward too far. If you replace the engine mounts its a pretty good idea to replace the tranny mounts at the same time. They both get torqued by the engine trying to twist as it is running. Chances are if your engine mounts are bad then your tranny mounts aren't far behind.

if the engine mounts are bad , the engine moves around specialy when you go fast. and that is why your fan will catch on that around cover and break. most likley went in the radiator and damage it from the inside where you cant see it. and that light with gear on it is your trans. so you beter check that out before you need a 5 speed swap.
