Hello all. First time posting here on the bimmer forums.

I currently own a 2007 Impreza 2.5i wagon automatic. bleh.
She's got 50k miles on her. I love how she looks, she handles pretty well, does autocrosses pretty well, and looks good, thats about it.

Things I dislike about the subaru:
Cheaply made interior. Everything just feels cheap.
Incredibly bumpy ride.
STI engine and 6 speed tranny swap would be upwards of FIFTEEN grand...thats alot of money.

Things I like:
Exterior. I love her, she always looks so good and gets alot of looks.
Not many people mod wagons like what I have planned for her.
It can look good, with alot of power.

Now for the new option. A bimmer. I absolutely have to have a wagon, I just love them. I'm not looking to spend more than 14k. I can sell my car for around 10k. So, on with the story.

Things I dislike:
Maintance more expensive.
Still an automatic, shame I can't find a manual.
Not very fast.

Things I like:
Looks much more classy.
Interior contains heated leather seats and a much better feel.
Ride a lot smoother.

decisions...decisions. I honestly just want a more luxorious car, I'm trying to grow up a little. Subaru feels too much like a toy.
On another note, I found a pretty good bimmer located very close to me. What do you guys think of this one?

Used 2003 BMW 325iT Sport Package $13,325 75k miles on it. Automatic.
The exterior is black. Interior is black. Heated leather, etc. Paint looks mint.

Other notes, I'm traveling to school 3 times a week, 80 miles a day. I need a more comfortable car, its just too difficult.

What do you guys think?

I'd try and find an e39 525 Touring(manual) I think the only 5er wagon w/ a stick...not 100% sure though.

Get an e39 (5 series) wagon. They are hard to find in manual like most wagons, but the 540iTs have great power, are very comfortable and are within your budget (for most cases).
