its a:
93 BMW 325is
Black with tan leather interior
(real) wood grain
automatic
170k miles
tinted windows
all stock except for a CAI.

The body is PERFECT.
The driver seat is cracked up.
Everything on the car works.
I live in kentucky.

What should i price it at? What would be a fair price?
We are wanting something bigger, like a truck or suv.

Thanks for any help!

Very up-to-date, brand new radiator and hoses, breaks pads and rotors are in excellent condition. The transmission shifts like butter! :-]
Just did the oil change about 300 miles ago, i change it every 4.5k miles

Going price on forums and CL and such is anywhere from 500 dollars to 4000 on the really high end. There are plenty for sale and it is showing on the price. The E36 325i is coming down and many times lower than the e30 325i.

Price it out on Edmunds and see what others are going for in your area--check classifieds and Craigslist. My best guess, without knowing your local market, would be around $3,000. It sounds like it's nice shape, but the automatic is less desirable, and that lowers the price.

Go to kbb.com and figure it out.

I was thinking around $2500-$3000. Most of us on these forums know that these cars go forever, but the common car buyer is usally put off by such high miles (170k).

When I bought my 318 I figured I'd only get about 20k out of it. I've since doubled that and hitting the 200k mark (knocks on wood) with little to no problems-one bad relay.

If you were to trade it in, you'll be lucky to get $800 for it.

thanks for the real answer :)

There is no real answer. The best answer is to look locally and see what others are pricing similar cars at. If you are much above others you won't sell.
