Well I was able to upgrade my HIDs to 6000K and install my all black LED tails and they work fine, except for the warning lights now on the dash, but I'll deal with that for now. My question is I ordered some HID fog kit from ebay and when I installed them, the lights flickered and then shut off. Will resistors work, we had same problem on my friends 04 545 and they did. If not, whoever has sucessfully done HID fogs, can you let me know what brand to buy that will work perfect? Thanks in advance.
Hows anyone put HID fogs in the sedan?

Ive been curious about this myself for quite a while. What Ive found out is that you're pretty much sure to need some type of error elimination kit. It also seems like different years/body styles have their own quirks about what triggers the dash lights. I'm still looking for a definitive answer.

Thanks, I've been on some BMW parts websites that sell HID conversion kits and a few of them claim that no codes will be thrown or no shortages. I wonder how true this actually is. I may sell the ones I bought and maybe buy a more expensive set or buy resistors and see what happens. If anyone has done this, please chime in.
