I am not sure they are parts cars, but would expect to pay at most a grand for a vanilla parts cars. I paid that for my driver and starting out it looked much like those. It is quite common for folks to seek insane prices for project cars, usually a waste of time to dealing with them. I looked at a car near me that wanted over 3K for a 633. It needed paint and interior but ran OK. Said he could come down a little. He is still trying to sell it many months later.

Parts is parts and rust is rust...normally unrecoverable.

Insane is what a local guy is doing with his price for a 86 635.
Starts out listed at 1500. Two days pass, he raises it to 2200. Another few days pass, he goes to 2500.
Me thinks he's doing it wrong.
