New 335i Coupe Owner says hello

Hi all. Well after 10 years of driving Corvettes--I take delivery of my first Bimmer this week. A 2009 335i Coupe. I must say that this car is every bit as fun to drive as a Vette, but much more comfortable, more safe, and has a lot more gadgets! After a woman ran into me and totaled my Vette, it was time for a change. I looked at every car out there in my price range and below--and by far the loaded 335i Coupe was the only one at the finish line!

i agree with you, i looked at a lot of cars in the price range and the BMW 335i is the best. i love the sporty combination with luxury. post some pics of your car soon

Well I am still waiting for the car to arrive. I live in South Florida and without ordering a car and waiting 2 months, I tracked what I wanted down but it still has to get off the ship and cover-transported here from the West Coast. I was deciding between Titanium Silver Metallic or Space Gray Metallic with Gray Leather. It ended up the only car with the options I wanted was in Space Gray so that's what it is/will be. I estimate I will take delivery next week sometime. I am getting the Premium pkg, Sport pkg, Nav, Upgraded sound system, etc.

I just made the switch, as well. I traded in my 03 Ford Explorer of 6 years and got an 08 335i coupe less than a week ago. So far I've been nothing less thrilled to be driving this car!

On a side note, I've talked to some friends about K&N products (namely the Air Filter and Oil Filter for now) and wanted to get a take on these from anyone who has had experience with them. Is it worth it to upgrade to these??

Welcome to the club.. I'm in Boynton Beach, and my fiance lives in Lake Worth.. If I see a Space Gray with Gray driving by, I'll give you a Xenon flash! :)
