Nav function question

Question about radio tuning with the Nav unit, '02 540i. Is it possible to manually tune stations?
Also, some stations have non-standard frequencies, ie 738 instead of 740 AM. Does it just tune the strongest signal?

If you don't have a NAV owners manual....you can download a PDF Nav manual from www.e38.org/e39 ...look at the bottom of the left column.

If you don't see it there...then go to www.e38.org (which is the 7 series page which has a few more manuals)...all of the Nav units (and other communication features) work basically the same in the 5 & 7 series even though they may have a slightly different physical appearance from 1997-2003.

And dont' take my reply harshly...I've never owned a BMW that has the built in NAV...so I don't have a very good concept of how the system works...thus I'm referring you to a downloadable owners manual (if you don't have one) which should explain and answer your question. :)
