Hey guys, i was wondering if it is at all possible to covert a 08' 335xi automatic to a manual transmission??? Will it come out okay and will the look of the interior be salvaged???

Is this a damaged car? If not, I would say it is probably more economical to sell it and buy a manual. I bet it can be done but will cost quite a lot. The programming/software issues won't make it easy either I expect.

well the thing is i put a lot of time and money into to this car that i dont think i will get back if i sell it.. plus i put a stage 3 dinan tune on it. But i really wanted to make it manual cause. it would also be hard to find a white e92 with the red interior. i also got a really good deal on the car. you have any idea how much a conversion would be?

No clue, but start with how much the parts will cost and then estimate the labor cost. If I were to throw a wild guess, I'd say $10K. You may be able to get some $$ back for the auto transmission, but is it really worth throwing more money into it? You will definitely not get it back, in fact this may make the car worth even less at resale. But it does sound like an interesting project if that is what interests you.

Here's the cost, the cost of turning the car into the dealer and buying an MT.
