Has anyone ever seen an E28 with the euro 3.8 M5 motor and six speed??
I have a guy looking for one in Europe if he finds one I am putting it in my E28 chassis..no more turbo motor...It was fun but I want a M motor in my car now.
Still have the 3.5 motors (2) and turbo system for sale....

:devillook how much do u want for the stuff?
You could make it fit no problem. Just be aware that the 3.8 is more of a 100k engine than the 3.6. My friend actually determined that the main bearings are thinner due to the size of the crank journals. Would be sweet though!!

I have been working on that very project for about ten months of spare time.
I am about one month from completion.
No six speed, but turbocharged and F/M I/C though!
Electromotive TEC3, oil squirters installed in the block, custom JE pistons and head Swain coated, yada yada.
Much talk on other boards that S38B38 headers are very difficult to fit though. Suggested that you use Euro s38 headers.
Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind one of those six speeds myself.

I have been running mine for around four years. I can tell you this much if you track the car any make sure the down pipe is coated all the way past the tranny...Mine is not...after 15 minutes on a road course at warp drive the tranny gets so hot that the gear oil breaks down..I change mine after each track event. If I end up keeping the turbo I will most definatly put a tranny cooler and diff cooler on it....and the floor gets so hot that I have had several student who have been in the car complain that there feet were on fire:buttrock I dig it....My car with 9-11psi will pull redline in fith 160-162...speedo only goes to 160..I have a 3.73..diff in it
