you beat me to it! The "e34 classifieds" button is only 25mm north of the "new thread" button.

Damn I didn't know the series # was screwed on. I was just thinking about maybe taking the badge off the back.

:confused It's not. the roundel has two guides that protrude into the trunk lid but, the series # is held on with an adhesive.

Use some heavy duty fishing line to remove.

Listen newbsauces, I've been here much longer for you, stuff gets lost in the for sale section really easy so I advise you to stop getting your panties in a bunch.

yep, I had it in my e34, I'll try to find the pic. Wiring the airbag is a bit difficult but it has been done, my friend did it in his e34.

You do realize that we have a e34 specific FS section?

Not so elite anymore huh? ;)

Thank you. Post count/time does not excuse haste. No offense meant, it's just that a lot of us really wanted this sub-forum and it's not being used to it's potential.

People in this section need to just chill out and try NOT to piss people off. It's getting f'ing ridiculous.

Has anyone every attempted to put an e46 steering wheel in an e34? I'm pretty sure it's not possible, or far too difficult.

I believe SCDavid and 5mall5nail have retrofitted one...

e46= dual stage air bag
e34= single stage

The splines may work... dont know

But it would take a shit load of work to get the controls to work, and preety sure the airbag wouldnt be able to even be made to work (see above)... For what it is, just get a 3 spoke m3 steering wheel. Same thing basically, minus the controls.

spline fits the e34 fine, I would post pictures of the wheel in my car but they're on my hard drive from my fried laptop.
