Okay so...

One side of my car sits a bit higher then the other. The front is identical. The rear drivers side sits a bit higher however.

I have GC coils, except the rear perches are removed. So in theory... Everything should be equal.

I noticed they were not even because my doors are sometimes harder to get open.

After taking the wheels off and looking around, I noticed 2 things. The side that sits higher has
A: a lower camber arm bushing instead of a ball joint.
B: the earlier style half shaft

The passengers side has the beefier half shaft and the correct lower ball joint...

I've already ordered a ball joint to replace the bushing. Any ideas as to why one side sits higher on identical springs...?

:help

I know on stock suspension, the driver side sits higher to account for the weight of the driver. This could theoretically still happen with aftermarket suspension.

Is it the spring, or actual suspension related?

YOu mean spring or chassis?

Try measuring your stock springs.

Never had the stock springs.

It's normal.

I believe it's a chassis thing. Shouldn't worry about it :)

I don't think you ever said how much it was different. is it minimal? or pretty bad? .25" or 2"?

My car was the same, I went to the stealership and purchased a spring spacer to level the rear out.

It's built into the chassis' points at the spring locations. OE springs are identical in length L/R. On my car, with OE suspension, it had about 1/8" to 1/4" different side to side. With no adjusters, the only thing you can try is a rubber spacer, OE, under the lower side.

However, that side to side difference shouldn't make the doors difficult to open.

Two different halfshafts and bushings?
Looks like PO did some custom work! lol
