I'm thinking about selling my Nick G tuned ECU along with injectors, piping and MAF sort of like a half turbo kit so I can upgrade my current setup. I would have to get a new flash on the ECU anyways so I might as well swap with someone who has a stock ECU and make them happy so they can have a awesome tune without going to FL. So what's the easiest way to do it without having EWS problems. Is there anyway to swap something like the ECU and EWS and Ignition(If that has anything to do with it) so that we don't have to go through all that?

Well if you swapped keys, ignition, and locks, and the EWS antenna, and the ECU. Or you can disable the EWS and buy "The Club"...

Is there an official EWS disable thread/procedure yet? I've heard mixed statements of it working and not working?

EWS is flashed out of the ECU, you have to pay to have it done.

Do you have to swap locks too?

OK let me get this straight...
You want to just swap out your ECU and put a stock one in right?
Apart from the differences in the 413 and 506 ECU... you can swap 413 ECUs all you want. The EWS is built into the chip.
But if you were thinking of using another 413 ECU with another chip... then just clip the #7 wire off the diagnostic port.
I know this as I am using a different ECU (still a 413) with a TRM (non-EWS) chip. The car wouldn't start (typical of EWS). I clipped the #7 green wire off the diagnostic port... car runs fine.
