1. Doesn't run great at low speed especially before it warms up.
Detonates or kicks (much less now after replacing rotor, cap and wires), but does on occasion detonate at highway speeds.

2. Leaking brake fluid (already replaced grommet below brake fluid resevoir) about 4-tablespoons per overnight park below the master cylinder servo area.

My guess on the items:

Item 2.

I have NO idea about the brake fluid leak. The master cylinder doesn't visually appear to be the problem. What is that big round part that the master cylinder mounts to. Is this a possibility?

Item 1.
1.1 I have a non OEM oxygen sensor (dumb mechanic, cheap agreeable me).

1.2 I have shoddy looking flywheel sensor wires, and wonder where to get the plastic connectors (new) that are part of the wiring harness itself.

1.3 The dumb mechanic (trying to be helpful) messed with the factory settings of my Air-Flow-Meter. (Is this a major concern?)

Do I: (in order of importance)

1. Replace the O2 sensor with an OEM one.

2. Replace the flywheel sensor wires.

3. Replace the Air-Flow-Meter.

4. Remove and the Master Cylinder and the Round black part it mounts to (what is that called anyway)?

Thanks for responding...I'm tired of big repar bills on this car and feel it's more productive to just find the part at a good price and install it myself, rather than pay big labor costs and part mark-ups especially on non OEM parts.

Thank again,

Hank
