Going to Spartenburg...

Hey guys...

Tentative schedule for Nov. 9th is that I'm going to spartenburg to pick up a car with my dad. He's ordering a '02 530i ... wish I was going to pick up my limited edition V8 M3 w/ SMG ... but no such luck.

Any hints, tips I should be looking for? I'm trying to convince him to take an extra day and go and drive the dragons tail with me. Currently we haven't decided if we are going to drive, fly, or put my car on the train to get up there.

Ideas?

Just make sure you don't go on a sunday or monday, the visitor center is closed. It's a real easy drive up 85, about 3 hours north of Atlanta.

definitely tour the manufacturing plant. It is so cool to see cars going from frame to finished vehicle
