This is the 2nd time I took my M3/4/5 to the track. The car has the 6.5 psi Dinan kit, M50 intake manifold, coolingmist water injection, and stromung exhaust. I also ran with my 24.5lb SSRs w/ 255/35/18s in the back. The good thing I was able to hook up this time so my #s were better but the warmer weather and heavier wheels/tires slowed my traps. Last time out I had best of13.48 @ 111mph.

Here is my best e/t, trap, and 60 ft
13.209 @ 107.66mph w/ 2.067 60ft
13.271 @ 107.35mph w/ 2.029 60ft
13.280 @ 110.78mph w/ 2.052 60ft

High humidity and track temps of 85

Let me know your thoughts. I think I may need that 8psi pulley to get me into the 12s.

Just my $.02, get your 60' down a bit, that would easily put you in the 12's, drag radials maybe? I would imagine you car would be in the 12.8's.

You have the trap speeds for 12's just dial her in...... What happened on the third run??? Where did you get 3 more mph faster?? Did you shift a whole faster or was the car heatsoaked before??
BTW, what were your 1/8 mile times?

Not really sure why the 3mph faster trap speed. I figured the 60 ft would have shown something but it must have been after that. The ET @ the 1/8 mile was also about 2mph faster than average.

A twelve second pass is within your reach with those short times. All you need is a good night and a 1.9x or 1.8x short time and you'll be looking at a twelve second time slip!

Good to see you out there having fun.

You really need an explanation for the diff in trap. Three mph is a lot. Was that your first run, and the others were heat soaked? Did you change your shift points?

What was the DA?

Nice consistency on the launch BTW.

Could have been a couple things. I tapped the rev limiter on a couple of the runs and the wind picked up big time before the storms came in (head wind). For all my runs in the 13.2XX range, my trap ranged from 107.35 to 110.78. My 60fts also ranged from 2.029 to 2.068. It doesn't seem like much variation in my 60 fts but I did try some different launch techniques. May just be from rev limiter and head wind but I would guess that my fastest time would be with the highest trap at that point too.

Edit...one other thing, around the time with my two highest trap speeds, I drained and refilled my water injection with ice cold distilled water I threw in the freezer the night before. That could have been it also.
