Took it on a hot ass night for some reason... the sun was a killer.

01 M3 Vert, Exhaust, K&N intake and tune with 3/4 tank of gas and HEAVY tires and wheels.

First run was a 14.062@103.48 launch at 3500 stayed in 3rd bumping limiter for about 20 feet. No 60 foot due to problem in my lane (45 psi with no burn out, spun and wheel hopped a bit first and spun HARD in 2nd)...

Second run 13.638@101.77 launch at 3500 shifting into 4th around 7800, no 60 foot. Mild heat up in first 32 PSI.

Third run 13.505@102.35 launch at 3700 shifting into 4th a round 7900-8000, 1.994 after changing lanes. Mild heat up in first, 32 PSI.

Fourth run.13.504@102.54 launch at 3900 1.974 60 foot . same as above.

fifth run. 13.407@ 102.59 launch at 3900-4000 with a harder walkout 1.944. same as above.

What we learned tonight?
Don't even try to do a burn out if the DSC is on... opps...

I should have left it in 3rd for the rest of the night and just bumped the limiter.

The car needs gears.

The car needs pulleys.

I can get a low 1.8 out of it with a bit more driving time.

I hate bracket racing.

and the car has 12's in her with good air , less gas and a bit more launch RPM as is, 12.80 with gears and pulleys.

Try tires first. I have gone 13.08 at 104.49 with a 1.80 60ft time. Seems like a stretch for you to get to 12.80s without tires.

I think the car is a bit down on power as it is way over due for plugs and valve service...

12.80 will be easy with gears and pulleys.

12's with out maybe not but it'll be real close.

It's never easy. Good luck.

Been doing this for a long time.

I think the car is capable of 104 mph traps if I can get a bit more RPM or shift faster.

What gear are ya'll crossing in?

getting 12.8's out of the car after cutting a pretty good 60ft is not going to be easy even with gears and pulleys IMHO. You are going to need to cut .6 off your time and that is no easy feet. Tires and gears might get you down in the low 13's but I hope you prove me wrong!

with a 1.8 that will be 13.20, if I figure out why the car is not trapping then I could pick up some more time.

I really think the car should be cutting 106 but maybe the heat was really killing it.

The heat has a lot to do with it and you are spot on about getting a 13.2 if you can manage a 1.8 60ft.

Make sure your MAF is clean because that can make a big difference if it is dirty on the S54 from what I have read.

Any pics of the car? LSB anything is sick!

You're well on your way. A 4000 RPM launch with a 1.9x short time is pretty damn good from an E46 M3 with street radials.

Dream on about a low 1.8x short time and 12.80! You'll have to show me that.
