yeah I saw that but with that many bids?? youd think someone would bite...but they should just tell you the reserve so you can meet and get the car. Id put 42+ on it if I could afford that much right nowexcept for Im not diggin the wood int.

US $26,600.00 (Reserve not met)
Oh cool! About $28,000 UNDER the car's current wholesale value!
I bet it has close to $35K to go before it hits the reserve.

 wow you are the coolest person tonight now
that wasnt my question....its idiots that are bidding soo damn low like the reserve on a 2001 m5 would poss. be set to late 20s....that car I bet as a reserve around 40k+
so why not bid on the car realistically

01 M5s with miles THAT Low (ALthough I dunno about that Color combo, Black, CB or Ti Silver would be better by far) arte running through dealer auctions in the low $50Ks at the moment.
M5s are STRONG and Staying strong at the auctions when they do show (Which is rare)

usually the whole idea with auctions is the slowly bid up, until the last few hours when people try to outbid eachother like crazy to get the item. thats when the price jumps the most.

Someone could have bid 55k and it wouldnt show it if the reserve isnt met.
Check back in 4 days.

Because it's eBay. People get really nutty on there and think they can buy things for insane prices. On RARE occasions, yes. In reality, enough dealers are watching the site that the car should at least get bid to wholesale.
Oh yeah, I'm a wholesaler :)
Example, I have the following car in stock at the moment. '02 M3 Coupe. Silver, 4K miles, perfect perfect perfect. Just bought it from a Dodge dealer where some idiot traded it against a Viper.
(BTW I have it sold already... not a solicitation of sale)
I bought it for $42K and it's sold for $45K. I could have probably gotten similar money, maybe a tad less at the auction. Or I could put it on eBay. Now guys.. you tell me if ANY 02 M3 Coupes have actually BROUGHT $47K on eBay lately (What low retail on it would be)
Nope. I didn't see any.
Now.. I am working on snagging an '02 at the moment with 47K miles on it for $34K :buttrock THAT is an eBay car as it's an '02 M3 with a BuyItNow for, say, $37,500.
Low mile, high dollar creampuffs generally do NOT do well on eBay. OTOH, I had an '00 M5 with 75K miles on it do VERY strong money on eBay.
