I know it's OT but this was a very cool project done by BMW in the late 80's.

Way cool, not crazy about the quarter panel ducts, but nevertheless looks like 2 tons 'o fun.

It was a prototype. They had to put the radiators in the trunk.

One other cool thing is that it's a 6 speed.

Repost, but definitely a good one. Wish they had made these, I wouldn't mind having one even though the headache of maintenance.

God, that looks like a PITA waiting to happen!

BMW should of replaced it with a 6.7 liter pushrod v8 :)
