Hi there. A lot of the DIY have lost their pic's associated with the repairs. Is there any chance for an update for those that are a bit older? I know it's kind of a stretch to ask, but they are useful and even more-so with the attached pics available to reference.

The pics are usually hosted on the original posters photobucket type account. If those users have moved on and deleted the pics from their host sites, I doubt you will see them.
Lots of folks have moved on. This used to be a very busy section with lots great information being shared but, has really died down the last 2 years.

Yea, I knew it was a reach even posting about it. But I thought it might draw some attention and jump start initiative, if possible.

I think you would have to track down the original posters and;
a. hope they still have the pics
b. hope they are willing to go through the trouble to rehost the pics and change the links in their posts.

As a new user, learn from this and make good posts with pictures and leave the pics for future users.

And don't mess with your Photobucket when you move on, don't use Flickr, anything with IMG or tiny in the name as a host. Just log in to your old Photobucket once a year to make sure it stays active.
