There's a difference? I am actually looking for a Thule rack for a 525i sedan. Once I buy a touring (since I want one sooo bad), I will get one for it. But for now, I am looking for a rack for my gf's sedan.

I have a BMW rack that was made for either an E32 or E34. You maybe able to purchase some adapter parts from Thule to adapt the accessories you already have since the original BMW rack were made by Thule for BMW. The rack rail is similar to Thule Aero rail. $125.00 plus shipping. Shipping is probably 20 bucks.

Hmm. Pretty interested. Can you take a close up pic of the crossbar. The attachment I have may already work, but I just want to make sure.

I think the seat is sold at the moment, if the buyer doesnt get the the funds by Monday a swap sounds great to me or i could just out right buy them from you. But give OP a shot at them first

Here's a picture of the rack on my Touring. The plastic end pieces flips down and you need to remove the rubber strip if you want to use BMW accessories.

I am here, sorry. Hard to get to the internet since I don't have it at home. I got to do it at work :(. Anyway, so I have the bike attachments that will fit a Thule, so are you sure your roof rack would be compatible if I just remove the plastic parts?

If you have the attachment for a Thule square bar rack, you will need to purchase the attachment for a Thule aero bar rack in order to use your bike rack on the BMW rack that I have. Best to go to a bike shop that sells Thule racks and accessories and discuss with them.
