Replacement of spark plugs help with overall feel at all?

Friend just had all his spark plugs replaced, air filter replaced, and thermostat.. He said, everything felt a lot smoother, my car is a couple years older than his, so I am wondering how things would feel if I replaced my spark plugs..

I know completely random question, somewhat n00b like, but it's late, and I figured I'd see what every one's opinion was on the situation?

Yeah I agree with the post above, If the plugs are replaced within their recommended service interval, you won't notice a lot but if they've been in too long you'll notice a difference. Everytime I've done plugs I've not noticed much difference except a slight imporvement in smoothness. Having said that I've always used the stock plugs and never tried other products which may claim to improve drivaebility.
