Got a weird one for you all?

Ok, so I have a weird Recirc switch/light. At first it would light up when engaged now it does not and it still engages and I tried a different switch and still no light up. Anyone have a clue as to why this is? Any help would be grateful.

is the slidey thing slid over to the right? I think it has to be for the light to come on because if the vents aren't open there is no point recirculating the air.

Yea the center slide is to the right but the others are closed off.

Should still light up regardless of where the sliders are. Mine does. Two bad switches is not unheard of. And I would imagine the switches are still good, though it sounds like the bulb is blown.

It must be, but the second switch used to light up in NikosX car. Oh well I guess I'll get a new one and go from there.

OK Update: the light kicked on for about 2 seconds when I first started the car today and only does that when I first start it and then goes out. This seems to be the consistent so far. So anybody got any ideas to what in the hell is wrong with that thing?

Not all at once now! Seriously doesn't somebody have an idea what else could be wrong rather than the light in the button since it comes on for 2 seconds when I first start the car? Let me know what you guys think or know.

same here.. my a/c (blue light) and recirculating doesnt light up.. what gives?
Anyone had this problem and rectified it?

This may be a given, or I may be wrong, but I thought I had noticed that Recirc only works when the A/C is on.

I had a problem where the a/c turned itself on and would not shut off. I had tried to turn the a/c on and off multiple times, and it remained on. No idea what it was, after I shut the car off and started it again, the problem was gone.

Yea I keep trying to do that but no luck. It works just fine in that mode but no light so it's hard to tell if its on or off. I have to listen for it.
