Check it, it's a manual with 182,000 (I emailed the seller). Bargained down to sub-$1k and it should be a good deal.
EDIT: I bought it
EDIT2: I'm not sure if I can deal with fixing it as I have to move soon and don't want to title it in ATL while fixing it in Indiana. Anyone want to buy it for $1k? That's the seller's bottom line.

It would be a great deal at $1k...white/black 5-speed '95 is mundo desireable. I'm trying to find a reason to do it but can't.
EDIT: Well, PorscheDude is making that a lot harder to ignore!

$1k is enough to reason to do it. Great combo color, 5 speed, 95 skirts. The thing has tons of parting out potential if you didn't want to fix it up

Damn. Guess I'll have to buy haha. I know the feeling man. Speedsterbek has a running 750il in good shape for 650 the next state over. It'd be a stretch for me, but I can't resist it.

Not an option...going to be moving out on my own in a month here and going to be cash-strapped to say the least. :(
I don't want to spend more than $1800 on this project (including new motor) if I decide to fix it. If I part, well, I part it but not sure on the returns.
How much does a mint '95 black interior go for?

No joke...if it looks like I'm moving to Brooklyn then I'm keeping it. But doubt it.

Haha, let's hope the bidding goes higher than that! :)

Would be higher than that but honestly wouldn't be too bad.

I'd do $650 with every nut, bolt, everything including diff.
Still not sure if I'm parting it though. I've only put a deposit on it.

Sure, no problem. I really don't want to part this car, it's too nice but it's such a hassle and very expensive to register it. :(

If I had the money I would have bought it and swapped in my engine, cooling system, suspension, brakes, etc.. and finally a 5-speed. Oh well.

LMK if you will actually be parting as there are some parts I'm interested in, good luck with the resurrection if you decide to revive it!

I'm running the numbers on the car, trying to figure out what is involved.
Parting this thing is not going to make any money, there are not any high-dollar parts on it.
I sure don't want to back out of this thing but don't want to lose money on it. I need to figure out registration/insurance on.

Big dollar items is not where the cash lays
don't trip over nickles to pick up pennies.
Trans swap 650
door panels 250
oil pan and dip stick stuff for E30 guys 150
intake for M3 guys 75
seats 175
back seat 100
wheels 125
ecu 75
the list goes on but you won't get your money overnight.
Then there's the carcass left for a few months.
That being said, there's cash to be made.
Can you disassemble everything yourself is the question.....
Car would be great for NYC.

I know it, we parted the M5 (where there was lots of big money items) and Nic is parting is 540. I just move in a month, and parting takes a long time. I don't really want to move a van full of crap.
At this point I may pass over the whole car. If anyone wants it more than me talk to me about it, don't go through the seller...$1k was his bottom line.

Thanks for the heads up.
dude.. put a motor in it.
Its a weekend project, I could help in Sept, but Im stacking until then.
I see motors on craigslist here pretty often for 300-400 bucks.. or get one from a pick and pull yard for about 150 bucks.
Hopefully the planets will align and I'll have a project of my own this weekend. :shifty

If you do part it, I'd be down for some interior pieces aswell. If you don't part it, GL with the repairs, make a build thread.
