UPS came yesterday with my wheels...and guess what?

Unfortunately, I'm not. I mean, go figure. it was a smooth transaction and everything was going well....should have known this would happen:banghead:

I'm at a loss now. I just hope they can find it...but I'm sure the shipping label is gone so it will be hard to trace. Although the seller put florescent yellow and pink tape all over it. You can't miss them.

+1 One time a set of ordered springs never showed up. We placed the claim through UPS and the vendor re-sent. Months later the original springs show up, box beat to hell, without a label but somehow they made it to our door.

I have had this happen with 2 different sets of wheels! One showed up a week later and the other only took a few days.........hopefully it just got seperated and held up at a station.

Did the seller insure each box for the total value of the wheels? Just in case something like this happened? I did that when I shipped my wheels, because having 3 wheels, is just as useless as having 0.

If there were 4 boxes-there should have been 4 tracking numbers (possibly filed under a global number). Can you look up the individual numbers?

They weren't in boxes. So they were just wrapped in tape and cardboard over the rim. For some reason there was only two tracking numbers even though there are 4 wheels...I'm not too hopeful about this.

If it was a suspicious seller- check the listing for the weights upon shipment (i.e. was one package listed as 43lbs, and the other was 21.5lbs).

Well UPS has 3 more days to find the wheel. I don't think it's gonna happen.

Meanwhile, I contacted the seller about what we can workout if/when they don't find the wheel. I asked about getting a refund and ship him back the wheels...Nope...not gonna happen. The money is spent, and now I'm gonna be stuck with three worthless wheels that I spent a grand on....

Those are rare! I had a nice set of them I so regret selling, they were 18x8.5 and 18x10 too!

Hopefully they were insured. UPS does have insurance of I believe $200 by default so you should get SOMETHING back from them.

Their type II's are the closest, but they don't have a lip. The 3 I have all have the same lip of about 1-2 inches, and 8.5 width rim:(

I was just told yesterday, that it has been found in Utah somewhere. So, it should be back on track to my house.
