I have the seat bench out and I found the 4 little black plastic nuts at the bottom but for the life of me I can't find what is holding the seat backs in at the top.
What is the trick? Trying to remove the pakage shelf so I can replace the rear shocks and find replacements for those crappy little rear speakers.
What were they thinking when they installed that sound system?
It really is a joke. There was much better equipment availble at the time.
Thanks,
Chris

Bentley manual in PDF form:

Advice: Save it to your desktop or something. It is a large file, and I use it often.

pop off the seat belt trim and grasp the seat back at the bottom and push up.

You have to remove the headrests and plastic surround if you have them, seatbelt trim and then pull up HARD!!!

as said, you have to remove the seat belt trim plastic thing HARD. Dont be afraid. It may seem like you broke it but its actually fine. Take out the headrests if you have them and the plastic under them. then push the seats upwards and out.
