I was there in run group 4 that day as a first timer on any track. My instructor had me take different lines through 2-3 and 10-11. Also, I noticed much less braking from those you were following. My instructor had me braking more and i wasn't going that fast. I never felt like I reached the limit but I guess you're not supposed to as a novice, right?

My buddy Dino was in group 4 that day - red 335i - did you come across him on the track? We shot video in his car, I will like for you to see if you did. I hope he posts to YouTube as well.

My line is ok, I do tend to turn in a little to early here and there so watch out for that.

And yes, always listen to your instructor - if he had you hitting the brakes it is probably because you were getting close to the limit - or he wanted you to slow down so you could learn without the pressure of potential error.

Me and like 5 buddies will be going up on 7/26 - you should join!

Yes, I think I gave Dino one or two point bys along with everyone else! I hope he posts his video. I would be interested in seeing how others did since my instructor insisted I not watch others lines.
The event on 7/26 is WM or COM? I may sign up but I may have a funding issue. Also, I am running Toyo Proxes 4's and my instructor said I should get more suitable tires fo the track.
If i don't do the 7/26 event, are there others you will be going to this season?
