hi guys i have a question i mounted 20mm spacers on my car and the rims still rubs on the shock absorber on the front.so my question is how thick should i put them?the rims come from an e36 the brand is breyton magic
i will post pics of the car with the wheels mounted later thanks to all of you:)

If I remember correctly the typical offset for E36 wheels is in the 42mm range. But that will certainly vary by wheel and size. You're probably in the neighborhood, 25 might get you there. But if you need to run that much spacer you should probably just find some more appropriate wheels. If you do run spacers that big, make sure you get proper hubcentric spacers that securely bolt up to your hub. H&R makes a nice piece but they're not cheap.

Yeah you most likely need a 25+mm spacer to fit E36 offset wheels... in all honesty I would suggest getting some new wheels dude.

you are right guys 25 is perfect the size of the rims is 17'' 8,5 width and i have custom made spacers to fit the rims perfectly

Are these custom spacers hub centric with intermediate bolts? If not this won't end well...

Just lookin' out for ya man! I've seen the carnage that results when someone stuffs a hug-ass spacer on their car and tries to make up for it with crazy long bolts. :nono
