Speaking of the previously mentioned 17" style 5's above; I believe I gave the same guy a $100 deposit for him to begin refinishing them for me(through vwvortex)....However, I did it via standard mail so that I have his address. I am supposed to get the wheels on the third weekend in July; otherwise, I will be making a road trip down to visit :)......only 1-2 hrs away. I'll post the outcome when it occurs.

I have no idea why he would only send 2 wheels. I've tried contacting this guy many times and with no avail. I'm just really dissapointed that member here on bf.c would do that. All I can do right now is see if he'll contact me back. That or I will have to place a lien on his property via judicial matters.

ya I know, that's why I found it very weird. So I gave him 2 months to respond before I opened all of this up. Like I said before, if he comes online and tells me that he is sending the wheels I will retract everything and close the dispute and all.

He seemed like a genuine guy. I tried calling his cell phone, but no answer. So I don't know what is going on. I'm left in the dark. That's what sucks the most. I don't know what's going on, therefore I took precautionary measures to protect myself as the buyer.

Any chances that the shipping co lost the other two wheels? Was there a tracking # on the package? What does it show? 4 shipped, 2 delivered or something like that? If so contact the shipper so they can put in a claim for lost merchandise or find the wheels.. Good luck dude. I'd simply put a bullet in his head if I were you and be done with it but hey, maybe it's legit..
