:mad you would assume that a long time member of this forum would be dependable and responsible enough, I guess that was my first mistake. Today, this seller told me that he's not sending me the door panels that I bought and paid for a month ago as it is damaged. This is after chasing him around week after week asking for an update as the tracking # he gave me was bogus. Mind you, he claims that he was on vacation and his brother was suppose to take care of the shipment for him. Who goes on vacay when you have unfinished business or at least follow through? I'm really bitter about this experience and I hope that you guys don't go through it. I waited a month for nothing - let see how quickly I get my money back. He's a Dbad in my book!

Lets hope for the best. I would not go as far as saying irresponsible seller right away... What if the doors got damaged while the brother was taking them to the shipping store? I have gone on trips while I tell someone that I call dibs on something but it lurks on my mind and I try to access internet or take care of business as soon as I return...

alright let's calm down. since you have a whopping 33 posts on this forum, it doesn't do much good to start rage threads about ANYTHING, much less a long-time member. deal with it calmly and assertively. people are much less apt to be cooperative to a hostile person than to a calm, forgiving one. my $.02. :)

I bought stuff from him before. The tracking number he gave you was probably for Canada post and will only work on their website using IE only. Canada Post makes USPS look fast... :shifty

*MOST IMPORTANT*

He is not a thief!!!

Alright, I was really irritated last night when I saw his PM so maybe that was harsh but then again, maybe it isn't. I've been calm and patient enough dealing with this seller and I didn't call him a thief. I was lied to (when he told me that the package was shipped) and given the run around and he told me that he will rectify the situation right away. I've spent a lot of time on this guys (following up on him, tracking the bogus # which was never shipped, and making arrangements with my neighbors to keep an eye out for me). For him to act like this is no big deal, shows that he had no respect for my time. I value my time as I don't have a lot. Anyhow, I know that he is parting out cars so I wish you guys good luck.

I look at this situation this way, he could have shipped them to you damaged, and then you would have lost out on your money. But i know him personally, and i believe his honesty was the best thing that happened to you. He is an honest guy, and at least he did not try to rip you off. iv gone through this with another member, but i was happy at the end when he did not lie to me, and try to rip me off.
