Does anyone know the torque value for the A/C belt tensioner, hexagon socket. This is the tension on the A/C belt. This is for an M51 diesel engine.
I´m aware that I could just use feel for this job, however BMW has a torque value for this, so I would like to get this right the first time.
And a second question: If I were to replace the A/C compressor, what is this oil I would need to fill the new compressor with, would a new compressor not be filled with oil out of the box.
I´m having the A/C system leaktested and checked for faults at a shop, and the idea is to save some money by doing the repair myself.
Thanks
