View Full Version : ///EUROWERKZ\\\~How to stop 400+whp & cruise on the highway, plus 12 hour race pics

BSaint showed a few pics of the new mods on my car, but I was bored today and did another shoot. 2 weeks ago the car took second place at the OC MD Car Show in the BMW Wild class. Eurowerkz did very well at the event, winning 4 of 6 BMW awards and 7 awards total.
I first have to thank Rotora for the sponsorship, and also the shop that once again did all the work on the car, Bimmerworks. Below you can also see pictures of the 12 hour race at Summit Point last weekend that I went to to take some pictures where Bimmerworks finished 11th of 29 in a car that had never been tracked before and was just finished up the night before.
The 6 speed and BBK are some of my favorite mods I've done to the car besides my diff and s/c kit. Can't wait to get my new HG and studs put in and bump the boost up some more! Hoping for 430-450rwhp next dyno. As always, click the pic of my car in my sig for more info.
Mods I did since my last shoot:
F&R Rotora BBK-14" 6 piston front, 13" 4 piston rear
e46 M3 6 speed/uuc evo III ssk/uuc flywheel/UUc segmented Kevlar clutch/uuc dssr/ UUC trans mounts/enforcers
Installed black lugs all around
Installed Power inverter
Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump
Active Autowerke signature badge
Waiting to be installed:
MLS .080 HG
ARP 2000 studs
Arctic silver powdercoated Autopower street roll bar
e46 M3 Hamman GTR sideskirts and CF undersills
VDO Water temp gauge in CF pod
Stewart water pump
Bimmerworld engine mounts
Euro M3 oil cooler
Bumping the boost up some more :evil2
On to the pics!

Im not feeling it.. Dinan is a must leave! Dont like the rear bumper. Dont like the mods, should have been kept more original in my point of view, but hey, you car, but im close to saying rice:rolleyes
But different rear bumper and im liking the outside. I love you roof liner, but dont like the screens in sun visor, and the rearview should be original at least :nono

Other then the CF engine covers what mods on this car are actually Dinan? Just curious because the blower says RMS.

lose the eyebrows, lose the rear bumper, do not put on those sideskirts you have. lose the dinan badge, and lose the monitors on the visors..they are worthless. lose that steering wheel, get a euro one instead. Way too much CF, IMO.
Also, lose that window lip in the back

overall I can dig the car. I think its one of the only e36 that can pull off the 19s. Even tho im not a big fan of CF, and the interior is a bit over done for my liking. all in all you cant do anything but respect the obvious time and money spent on the car.
also I just hate eyelids on any e36 period, and CF eyelids is like a double buzz kill for me.

I don't think I'm supposed to post that up :devillook
If you are interested, just PM me...lets just say it has a lot of cooling/weight reduction/power upgrades lol
by the way, where did you put the AA signature badge? and where did you find that AA decal on your rear window?
Its in the engine bay on the ECU cover (thanks again :D )
The sticker came from AA when I sent my ECU there.
It doesn't other then the massive dinan badge when there are seemingly no actual dinan parts on the car.
:rolleyes
The car did have the "10 points" but they have all since been removed except for the engine covers and throttle body.
It also had the intake, stage 5 software, the schrick intake manifold from dinan, and HFM kit. A whopping 13 points lol
I just like the look of it personally, thus why it stayed.
+1
Where'd you get those visor screens btw?
Got them i think from tri state tuners at a car show...they are Farenheit screens that I had fiberglassed on and then covered in suede.
great shots luke!! your car looks great!

Yup it is a show car for sure :D
However, I would guarantee the car weighs within 100 pounds of the factory weight.
Yes, I added probably a 100lb stereo system...
However, there is no spare in the car, no SAP, CF trunk, CF hood, Sparco seats (have you ever picked up a factory seat?), etc...
Next time the car is on the alignment rack, i'll have it weighed for sure :D
Luke your car is looking real good, can't wait see it.
thanks man! Your car was incredible when I saw it the other day! Thanks again for the parts!!!!
I know the car isn't for everyone, but I like it so that's all that matters. Its different from what you see on here all the time, and I will agree there is a lot of styling on it from the past. But that's the styling I like so thats how its gonna stay. You can see the mods I plan on doing in the future in my first post, but after that I am done.
For those in the Midwest that wanna see the car in person, I'll be at HIN Chicago July 11.

There are pieces of everyone's car someone else will not like, but who cares its YOUR car, and as long as YOU like it, who gives a crap what everyone else thinks. I love 98% of it, and I have to see this thing at a meet / show sometime!
Personally I think that wheel and those seats look like hell, so I will take them off your hands if you cant bare to look at them any longer... :D
What seats are they anyway? I think I asked last time and received no response.... :cry
Overall question, where the heck can one get a raid wheel these days, I see them all over the place online for porsches and stuff but not for bmw anymore and any place I call is in Europe and their english really sucks!

thanks man! I do go to a lot of local meets and see you're pretty local....Don't know if you go to BMFeast or Bloweuroz or any of the meets BSaint has organized...
The seats are Sparco Milano Prestige seats in leather.
The Raid wheels you can get from tmtuning.com (at least they used to sell them). You can buy any Raid wheel you want, just have to buy the Raid adapter for it as well for it to bolt up. I'm sure any Raid wheel supplier can get you the adapter regardless if they're a Porsche or Audi or VW aftermarket parts place.

right now i'm running 13psi max boost, i'd say it'll go up another psi after I change the s/c pulley (going from a 3.33" to a 3.15" with a 6" crank pulley). Car made 403rwhp last dyno and I've done a few things since and with the addition of the smaller s/c pulley i'm hoping for over 430whp. we will see.

No way, I'm too incompetent when it comes to cars. Jordan (Stück) is installing my turbo, euro oil cooler, hg and studs, boost controller, wideband, and everything in between. He's already done my suspension and brakes :buttrock and he's basically charging me 1/4 of what the dealership/any race shop would. He's really knowledgeable and an all around nice guy. E46 M3 Hamann side skirts? Where?????? I see stock E36 M3 skirts?
Way too much for me, imo. Interior is overdone... silver center console, CF instrument cluster area, weird steering wheel, random dinan badge. CF glovebox. The car doesnt seem like it knows what it wants to be... I dont mean to sound like an asshole, its obvious you put a lot of money and work into the car, but did you have a clear vision of what you wanted it to be? More is not always better... more cf, more hood vents, more badges does not = better.
Sorry again if I sound like an ass. Just not what I would have done. Props though for doing what you want.
