but the tags are suspended because the MD MVA can suck my nuts.
anyway, finally got it back running from the bodyshop. Been out of town for the past week and a half flyfishing for Tarpon in Islamorada!!!!!!
Had to clean the MAF as the car was running like absolute crap, but now its running like a top. Went out and did a full 3rd gear pull up to over 100mph and it was pulling STRONG....I then ran back to the garage with my tail between my legs hoping no cops would see me and take my car.

test fitting the new cast aluminum elbow I just got, need to weld on a bung for the ICV and then it will be installed. New aluminum boost piping is on the way too, will be replacing all silicone w matching red silicone to brighten up the engine bay. m50 mani is ready to go in too :buttrock.

ok so now the question, I got the new kidney's custom painted w the out edges painted Hellrot. The bodyshop could only get chrome kidney's which I did not want so they painted them for me. I figured I can always buy some black ones if I dont like these but it doesn't hurt to try.
what do you all think? oh yeah, the fogs the bodyshop put in fall out......no screws just compression clips to hold them in. they claim they are OEM so i'm not sure whats going on.
also removed the bottom mesh in front of the intercooler....not sure if it will stay like that either.
As it sits now....front coils are all the way up.....the anti stance bitches.

front end will be slammed once again shortly....it was all the way up so it could make it on a flatbed, it just barely made it w/ that raised stance.

NIce......i used to live in south Fla. We would go down to the Keys all the time and there were a few spots where you could hand feed the Tarpon off of the docks. I had one grab my arm almost up to my elbow!

Bud 'n Mary's Marina would be one of those spots.
I'll tell you though, the "wild" Tarpon that are not at those spots act much much differently.

dont like the kidney's. go with blackout.
fog lights are OEM... they just kinda clip in there, its a crap system.
Just get the delete plates IMO, they look better anyways, and you dont have to worry about $120 fog lights breaking and falling out.

I'll drink it in a pinch, and 2 limes per bottle is a necessity. It's certainly better than Bud Lime or something. I'm a dark beer kinda guy. :thumbup

trust me, in 115+ degree heat index weather you wouldn't be loving a dark beer after baking in it for 5 hours.

first of all, love your E36, what coilovers are you using? How do you like the power of the M3 vs the 335i you had?
Secondly, amazing pictures and nice catch!! And on the beach/water Corona with lime is great.

hey thanks man
the car is on Ground Control Track/School CO's.
the M3 is much more raw and the power just keeps going to redline....the 335 had more TQ down low, basically no lag and was heavier so it was smoother.
I love both.

yes there will be clamps on both sides, these couplers and the elbow are from Vibrant.
I was only test fitting the setup, need a bung welded on the bottom for the ICV before it can actually be installed.

if your talking about just removing the centercaps and sticking a roundel in the hub I think that looks tacky and unfinished.

I'm gonna be doing this also. Would you just use an exhaust bung and find a barbed fitting with the same threads?

I dont know if this is standard or not, but the hose off the ICV that leads to this elbow is just like a heater hose. It attaches to the bung with a worm clamp. I'm just going to have the welder put in the bung then build up the material at the end like a bead for a boost pipe since boost will be hitting this fitting.
actually, I need to find out exactly what size bung I need.......anyone got the dimensions?

I got ya. I know the elbow that ECS sells has a bung that a barbed fitting from the hardware store would screw into. I guess if a long enough small tube is welded on there with a tiny bead, that would be easier.

well here is the underside of the TT silicone elbow that is leaking on me, thats what I am replacing. You can see the bung that is used, its not long. You can also see the oil residue leaking out around where the bung meets the silicone....boost leak city.
