Redline D6 ATF in my 528ia?

I have read about forumers using the Redline D4 ATF in their transmissions. How about the D6 fluid? Cause I read that D6 is supposed to be compatible with Dexron VI and III (D4 is Dexron III only).

Find out what trans fluid BMW recommends then look for something compatible. I have the GM trans which uses Texamatic (OEM BMW recommendation). I had it replaced with Castrol Multi-Line which is a replacement for Texamatic.
