You've clearly never experienced a car with a K&N air filter.

This Craigslist thing seems so popular in the states but it looks so tacky and un-user friendly.

dude you didnt read the specs
Radar detector - good for an added 87hp
New bright blue headlight bulbs - adds atleast 130hp
German style license plate - not much hp added but itll give you and extra 64lb of torque
Garmin GPS - the garmins are top of the line...you can expect upwards of 165hp added

It's just popular because it is easy to use and free. I'm not sure why a few people on here insist on spamming/cluttering this forum with CL links.

It's actually VERY user friendly. It's laid out in about as simple a browsing manner as you can find, there's no images except in the individual posts, there's only one color and one font. Pages load STUPID quick, and you can browse it on damn near any device without compatibility issues. Think of it as ebay without all the stupid load times and lag. Very low overhead from a site design point of view.

The first part may be true when he says 0-60 in 3 secs.
3 seconds seems right for a 60 foot time.

Ever try to sell something on eBay and it doesn't sell? It still costs you. CL lets you repost the same thing week after week, and since it is local, you can insist on local pickup and not have to worry about shipping (great for furniture and stuff).
The downside is that every expects to haggle, so you need to list things a little higher than you will accept. Also, since there is no binding agreement, you can expect a lot of people who don't call back, don't show up or show up late, etc. No feedback on bums. Also no turbo listing, and you have "net nannies" who flag your posts if you use copyrighted pictures or anything that they don't like.
I call it FlakesList.

I've seen dyno results of an average 167hp added by the blue bulbs and while the German plate doesn't really add hp it redirects the air across the bumper allowing for sub 3 second 0-60 times :eyecrazy
Craigslist is a great place to buy and sell but with any free service you get flakes, liars and just plain stupid people. I've tried to help people in the past who have their stuff posted with very incorrect information. I only had one person say thanks and actually fix the ad.

That 0-60 time is true if you drive it off a cliff, probably what the seller meant to say.
