ok... so I'm pretty sure that this has been discussed on here before, but the search tool gave me nothing.

Can you tell what all went into your stereo modifications & show pictures?

I am going to do stereo upgrade but A) don't know what all I need and B) don't know range of how much it will cost

Most people here put subs into their cars and change the head unit. I personally would only change the head unit with double din one, because single-din looks stupid IMO
Also, you can either put a sub into the Ski-pass opening in your trunk, or the M5 style-sub which hooks up to the upper part of the trunk compartment:

I would also look up BSW (http://www.bavariansoundwerks.com/category/261/0/Catalog/), as it says on that sub, for their speaker upgrades. I have heard nothing but good things about them, and for the price you can't get much better. Their stuff is plug and play with video installations too so you can DIY pretty easily.

I also forgot to mention that my speakers sound like crap to me. I think they're blown (or they are just garbage in the first place, which I doubt). So, I will be replacing those (at a minimum).
