I bought an 01 740 il alittle while back. I has aftermarket chrome m-parallels on it. The offset on them is way off. They will actually fit on my 325, they just stick out a little farther than the other wheels I have. If I had to guess at the offset I would say they have a 30 or 32. They currently have 235/45/18 rubber on them that I need to replace. Should I get 20mm spacers and put stock size 255 series tires on it, or just try and find a diffrent set of rims for it? Is there any reason not to run spacers? I love m-pars but cannot find an afforadible set of staggered stockers. Thanks in advance.

I do not have a spacer but there are companies that do. As long as the wheel stays hub centric they would be fine. If the wheels are 30mm I would only go to a 15mm spacer.

thanks for the info. I dont actually know the offset. I would guess its somewhere around 30 to 35. Is there anyway to tell? It doesnt say on the back.

I would buy the right ones (prefer in silver) and then sale these.

This is a link to show you how to measure offset. It should be stamped ET and a number on the wheel somewhere.

Ditto. I prefer the silver staggered look myself. Try to find a clean set for under $1k though.
