hey guys just bought my third bimmer....(<2> 74' 2002)

what is the biggest steel wheel i can get...yes steel as in the spare tire....saw 16" on 740i's

are there 17" avail...thanks

I would like to know this as well, I'm looking at trying to pick up some 20" steelies for a p71 crown vic.

I've heard of there being a 17" steelie that came as a spare on the E46, but I may be wrong. if I recall it was very skinny.

I also bet its the same 5x4.5 pattern, I'll look into that, thanks.


Edit, they made them bigger, now its 5x5.5 :(

Do you know what size are the caps? I have 17" steel wheels for winter use and the caps from my LTW are too big.

The cap is not the common one. It's chrome with a roundel on it and it's held by the lugs.
